‘Smoking gun’

Affidavit by Robert Ricker, former head of the American Shooting Sports Council, will strengthen anti-gun claims. He says that executives in the gun industry have long known that some dealers they supplied were selling guns to criminals. This will be presented as part of the suit filed by 12 California cities and counties seeking to hold gun makers, wholesalers and retailers responsible for allowing easy access by criminals. The gun industry defence is based on no knowledge thereof.
