Verdict on vCJD death

After five years campaign, the father of Pamela Beyless one of five victims of vCJD in the village of Queniborough, succeeded in winning a coroner’s hearing. This recorded death from misadventure, Leicester coroner Martin Symington being satisfied on the balance of possibilities that her teenage diet had cost her life. Further such decisions could follow strengthening any future action against meat processors and retailers.
