Some Alder Hey families continue litigation

Most of the 1,154 claimants in the Alder Hey Hospital infant organ storage scandal have accepted the court-approved offer of £5,000 each. However, 13 have refused and Mr Justice Gage in Nottingham Crown Court has granted them leave to join other groups in litigation pursuing other organ retention claims. These are likely to reach hearing late this year or early next.
