Smallpox vaccine compensation?

An article in USA Today, 20 January 2003, focuses on attempts to set up a compensation fund for people expected to suffer health injury through the US programme of widespread vaccination of hospital and public health workers against the risk of smallpox. The Bush administration claims that workers comp and health insurance policies should provide cover but the Insurance Information Institute recommends that employees check what cover is in place
