Rollercoaster death

A mother whose daughter was killed in a fall from a rollercoaster ride in 1999 has received £15,000 in compensation from the owner of the Amusement Park involved. The 8 year old girl was thrown against a metal post as she fell from the rollercoaster, and died from her injuries the following day. The owner of the amusement park was also fined £25,000 and ordered to pay £140,000 costs.
