Group claim dismissed

A group litigation claim by 55 passengers against a number of international air carriers arising out of deep vein thrombosis has been dismissed on the basis of a technical analysis of the Warsaw Convention and EC regulation 2027/97/EC. It is said to be further evidence that the class action industry is unlikely to develop in the same way in England and Wales as it has done in the US.
