Merrill settles underperformance claim
Merrill Lynch Investment Managers has paid an undisclosed sum, thought to be in the region of £70mn, to former client Unilever
pension fund to settle a £130mn claim arising from alleged underperformance against an agreed benchmark. This is without admission
of liability and in the expectation of resumption of ‘normal business relations’.
