Philippines and big brands launch scheme to battle fakes

IPOPHL launches initiative with rightsholders such as Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline and Castrol to tackle online counterfeits

The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) has signed an agreement with two of the country’s largest e-commerce platforms – Lazada and Shopee – in an attempt to tackle and remove growing online counterfeits.
