A failure to obtain appropriate insurance – or any insurance at all – may mean UK e-businesses are exposing themselves to unnecessary risk. E-commerce has introduced a number of new risks that may not be covered by traditional business insurance policies. Consequently, businesses that try to rely upon standard policy wording may be in for a shock when they try to make a claim.
