Benlate cases reopened
A number of claims against DuPont de Nemours, relating to Benlate 50 DF fungicide and apparently settled, have received judicial
permission for reopening. Although DuPont has paid out more than US$1bn in all in settlements since 1990, the claimants alleged
they had been misled into accepting less than their entitlement. DuPont is to ‘vigorously defend’.
