Unifi to sue Bank of England
Finance workers’ trade union Unifi is to take the Bank of England to tribunal for failure to observe legal proceedings in
the dismissal of several members of staff. It had refused to accept ‘inferior’ contracts of employment – accepted by the majority
of the 1,800 staff – which cut holidays and reduced flexi-leave for working mothers.
