Broker’s 2021 predictions for liability insurance market

Prediction is very difficult, especially about the future, as Niels Bohr, Nobel Prize winning physicist once noted. With 2020 so unlike any previous year, the predictions for 2021 for the liability insurance market generally reflect the longer-lasting impact of Covid-19 and the 2020 lockdowns and economic fallout. One thing is clear however: the hard market is not going to change any time soon. Independent broking firm New Dawn Risk has issued a number of market predictions including that long-tail claims from Covid-19 will impact casualty treaties in 2021.
