USPTO’s Iancu condemns ‘unacceptable’ Capitol violence

USPTO director decries riots from pro-Trump supporters in ‘strongest possible terms’; says office staff members ‘set the gold standard’ for excellence in public service

The violence which occurred last week as Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol building was “simply unacceptable” and condemned in the “strongest possible terms” by US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) director Andrei Iancu, according to an office internal email seen by IPM.
