Amazon barred from using its web service logo in China

Amazon ordered to pay Chinese software firm$11.8m in compensation for infringing trademark covering ‘AWS’; Amazon ‘stronglydisagree’ with ruling and intend to appeal

Amazon has been barred from using its web service logo ‘AWS’in China, after a Beijing court found the cloud-computing arm of the behemoth brand was already trademarked by aChinese business.
