Solicitors may have cover problems

With issue to insurers of the Law Society’s qualifying insurance agreement, the race to pick up business from the 9,000 law firms in England and Wales is hotting up. While the big City firms will expect to benefit from no longer having to subsidise smaller high-risk firms, others may find market quotes are heavier than those of the erstwhile Solicitors’ Indemnity Fund.
