GitHub reinstates ‘fair use’ YouTube source code

Platform re-admits YouTube-dl after EFF information claims platform ‘does not violate DMCA’

A previously removed piece of open source software allowing users to download YouTube videos has been reinstated on software developer site GitHub, with the platform stating it does not circumvent “a technical protection measure”.
