Singaporecould be regarded as one of the chief harbours and promoters of IP rights inAsia and globally, says Lim Siau Wen

Since 2013, the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore(IPOS) has worked towards the aim of establishing Singapore as an IP hub inAsia. The ‘IP Hub Masterplan’, which includes proposed strategies andinitiatives to promote understanding of and trade in IP in Singapore, seeks toestablish the country as a premier destination for IP filings, disputeresolution and transactions.
