A recentsupreme court ruling from Japan found that automatic trimming of images couldgive rise to infringement of moral rights

On 21 July, 2020, the Supreme Court of Japan (the SC) ruledthat users of the Twitter social network service who “retweet” may be found toinfringe an author’s moral rights.
