Further Tisza pollution
A further spill of heavy metal-laden materials occurred at the Baia Borsa mine in Romania at the end of March, due, according
to officials, to weather conditions and human error. The Environment Ministry, however, blamed mine operators for not properly
mending a wall or carrying through drainage of systems following the spill of 10 March.
