KIPO aims to ‘eradicate’ online fake goods ‘explosion’

Korean IP Office announces major plans to combat concerning rise in fake goods; proposals include amendments to South Korea’s TM laws

The Korean IP Office (KIPO) is looking to crack down on what it describes as “explosive” numbers of counterfeits appearing online, after revealing the number of fake goods increased by 204.4% this year.
