HDI GLOBAL SPECIALTY APPOINTS SCANDINAVIA MD

HDI Global Specialty has appointed Thomas Barenthein as managing director of its Scandinavian branch. The carrier's Stockholm branch writes international and general aviation, marine and specie, as well as a range of political risks. Barenthein joins from Inter Hannover, where he was managing director for Sweden. He was also chief branch officer and a member of its executive committee. He replaces Mats Westerborn, who moves to the role of general manager for aviation in HDI Global Specialty’s Scandinavian branch.
