Apple; Google seek to invalidate NHK-Fintiv rule

Complaint asks California court to declare NHK-Fintiv rule ‘unlawful’; claim it was adopted without notice-and-comment rulemaking and is therefore ‘procedurally invalid’

Giants of US tech, including Apple, Google and Intel have filed a lawsuit against the US Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) director Andrei Iancu, under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA).
