Working long hours means more injury or illness

A study by the University of Massachusetts has found that employees who do overtime are 61% more likely to suffer an injury or become ill. Employees who work more than 12 hours a day increased the risk of injury or illness by more than a third, while a 60-hour week means a 23% greater risk.
