APIL calls for injury reporting points system

Companies failing to report workplace injuries should be on the receiving end of a quicker, stricter punishment system, according to the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). Responding to the HSE consultation review of RIDDOR, APIL says that health and safety lawyers have called for ‘points’ to be awarded against those organisations which fail to follow safety rules.
