Contribution possibility does not absolve tortfeasor

If there had been two tortfeasors who were responsible for the same damage, one could have a claim for contribution against the other but that did not absolve an original tortfeasor from his liability to the injured claimant. The judge so held when allowing the claim in professional negligence against a firm of solicitors and ordering damages to be assessed.
