As Iwrite, we had just passed the 100-day lockdown mark here in the UK. So, hair isa little shaggier, nails a little more unkempt, but life goes on. As we went todigital press, the Supreme Court of the US issued its hotly anticipated USPTOv Booking.com decision, where the court ruled in an 8-1 decision that ageneric term with the .com gTLD can be registerable as a trademark, if thecompound term has a meaning to consumers.
