Hospital pays £10,000 over stillborn baby

A couple whose stillborn baby was left in a cupboard for three days have received £10,000 from the hospital. The parents discovered the body of their daughter in a cupboard near the room where the mother was staying. It was not moved for three days despite repeated requests from the parents.The hospital apologised but there was no admission of liability.
