£100,000 for man in persistent vegetative state
A man who suffered severe head injuries in a car crash which left him in a coma, has been awarded £100,000 in compensation.
The man is now in a ‘persistent vegetative state’ after the crash. He was a passenger in a car driven by an uninsured driver
which hit a lamppost while overtaking. The compensation will be paid by the Motor Insurers’ Bureau.
