Unreasonable precaution to impose on hoteliers

A man suffered severe multiple injuries fell out of a window at a hotel in the middle of the night. He argued that the height from the floor to the base of the opening window was 750mm and should have been at least 800mm in accordance with the Health & Safety Commission’s Workplace, Health, Safety & Welfare Approved Code of Practice.
