Prison service loses unfair dismissal case

Appeal court judges have upheld a woman’s case for unfair dismissal and disability discrimination against the Prison Service.The woman was sacked in 1997 after going on sick leave. She had been demoted after asking to change her hours as an administrator, and suffered from depression.
