After the Democrats’ loss in the 2016 US election, it’s all to play for in 2020. President Trump’s stance on IP is well documented, such as attempts to better the system, including the Music Modernization Act. However, his efforts have been vastly overshadowed by the gargantuan trade war with China over alleged IP thefts. But how do the following Democratic party or Republication party candidates view IP, and what would they change, if anything at all? We reached out to multiple lawyers to provide their thoughts and insights, with additional comment provided by IPM.
