Government to go ahead with small claims limit increase

David Lidington, appearing in front of the Justice Committee, said: “We think that the £2,000 limit for nonRTA claims will still make it perfectly possible for people to pursue, for example, industrial injury claims against employers. That is why we are proposing a different ceiling for RTA claims as against nonRTA personal injury claims.”
