US report examines insurance coverage for autonomous vehicles
Insurance coverage for autonomous vehicles will bring US$81 billion in new premiums to the US auto insurance industry over
the next eight years, according to a new report from Accenture and Stevens Institute of Technology. This would be driven by
risks related to cyber security, software and hardware and by the need for additional public infrastructure coverage.
