Call for action to tackle obesity to be in Public Health (Wales) Bill

BMA Cymru Wales has said that action to tackle obesity, and nutritional guidelines, should be included in the Public Health (Wales) Bill. The bill was reintroduced after it failed to pass on the last day of the last Assembly. This time around, however, the bill will not have the controversial ban on the public use of e-cigarettes because of a lack of political consensus.
