Policy conditions - Consequences of breach of policy conditions

The Court of Appeal handed down its judgment in Kazakstan Wool Processors (Europe) Ltd v Nederlandsche Creditverzekering Maatschappij NV, forthcoming in [2000] Lloyd’s Rep IR 371 , on the same day as the judgment in Alfred McAlpine, discussed in the preceding paragraphs. The issue in Kazakstan was the effect of the breach of a policy condition not just on the claim to which it related but also on the policy itself.
