Proceeds of crime - Confiscation proceedings - Appeal against confiscation orders - Lifting/piercing the corporate veil
The appellant company appealed against the decision of Carlisle Crown Court whereby an enforcement receiver had been appointed over its realisable assets. This order had been made to enable the recovery of the amounts of confiscation orders previously made against Patrick and Mark Boyle under the provisions of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
