EFSA adopts new protocol for Atypical BSE investigations

The European Food Safety Authority has developed a laboratory protocol on how to conduct new studies for investigating the presence of the agent of Atypical Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) in tissues of infected cattle.
