In 2014 the maritime world is due to witness the launch of the largest containerships ever to enter service with the introduction
of Maersk’s Triple-E class vessels. With a payload of 18,000 20-foot containers, which if stacked end to end would break through
the Earth’s stratosphere, capacity will be 16% greater than its predecessor, the Emma Maersk.
