ICS commits to CO2 MRV

The International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) board reviewed recent developments on the international regulation of CO 2 emissions from ships. This included proposals by the US and the European Commission, and others, for a mandatory system of monitoring, reporting and verification of emissions (MRV).
