Compensation for injured cyclists
A cyclist who suffered serious skull fracture as a result of a Road Traffic Accident has been awarded £50,000 in compensation.
He was not wearing a helmet. He made a full recovery and went back to work and cycling. He was left with some minor left side
weakness, a hormonal imbalance, and a risk of developing epilepsy. Provisional damages were agreed for 15 years post-accident
for risk of epilepsy.
