£100,000 in compensation for construction site head injury
A construction worker has received £100,000 in compensation after he sustained serious head injuries whilst working on a building
site. He was hit in the head by a skip suspended from a crane as it was being moved from one part of the site to another.
Despite wearing a hard hat, the injuries he sustained left him suffering from a mild traumatic brain injury with various neurological
symptoms and has been unable to return to work for almost four years. His employer admitted liability for his injuries.
