High strain jobs in link with cardiovascular disease in women

A study entitled “Job Strain, Job Insecurity, and Incident Cardiovascular Disease in the Women’s Health Study: Results from a 10-Year Prospective Study” has concluded that high strain and active jobs, but not job insecurity, are related to increased cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk among women, while both job strain and job insecurity are significantly related to CVD risk factors.
