Summary of the IALS Banking Law Conference, 23 May 2012, on Basel III, the Vickers Report and Regulatory Restructuring

The participants of this conference[1] discussed in detail the impact Basel III will have on banks from various different perspectives, including academics, a legal practitioner and a regulatory consultant for the banking sector at one of the big four international accountancy and professional services firms. This conference also highlighted other changes both the Vickers and Volcker reports will bring about in the future in their respective jurisdictions.
