Bullying claim wins £44,000 in compensation
A sales rep has won £44,000 in compensation at an employment tribunal on the grounds of bullying. He was repeatedly called
homosexual by colleagues purely on the basis that he does not like football. After he made a complaint to bosses about his
co-workers inappropriate comments he was sacked. The man, who is married with a child, claimed the discrimination got worse
when people at his work found out he was interested in the arts and culture.
