Judith Hackitt reappointed as Chair of Health and Safety Executive

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions has announced the re-appointment of Judith Hackitt as the Chair of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). She was first appointed as Chair of the then Health and Safety Commission in October 2007, for a period of five years. Following re-appointment, she will serve for three further years, to October 2015.
