New scheme takes off to cut airside accidents

A new scheme has been launched which aims to reduce the number of injuries suffered by airport operational staff. A training course for supervisors and managers in the aviation sector, accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), has been unveiled to ensure airside and landside health and safety standards remain paramount.
