Occupational exposure to asbestos in heart attack link
A study by the Health and Safety Executive has suggested that occupational exposure to asbestos is associated with death from
cardiovascular disease. The study, “Cardiovascular disease mortality among British asbestos workers (1971–2005)” was published
in the journal Occupational & Environmental Medicine.
