Over £2 million compensation for brain injury at work

A grounds-man working at a Wiltshire motor racing circuit, has been awarded over £2 million in compensation, after suffering a serious accident at work. He was travelling around the circuit on the back of a flat-bed truck, collecting advertising hoardings. As the hoardings were being loaded onto the truck, he and a colleague sat on them, to keep them in place as the truck continued on its way. A freak gust of wind caught one of the advertising boards, blowing him off the back of the truck.
