House of Lords in LASPO amendments

The House of Lords voted to include a number of amendments to the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Bill (see “Features”). One of these was proposed by Lord Alton of Liverpool (Crossbench) who suggested a new clause in Amendment 132AA, “exception in respiratory (industrial disease or illness) cases.”
