ABI calls for reduction in fixed legal fees

The Association of British Insurers has said it is time to put a brake on the UK’s “exorbitant” legal bill. The ABI said legal fees in settling motor personal injury claims now cost UK consumers £1,666 every minute, which the Association called “unaffordable, unsustainable, and unacceptable.” The ABI has called for a reduction in fixed legal fees.
